Excellent Service
My wife and I came over from London England and had no idea about the tax requirements in this country! We found it very difficult for any accountant to respond to our emails or accept our calls as a new client. Trudy was different. We had a very friendly receptionist answer the call promptly and professionally and we were scheduled in for a Free Consultation there and then. Of course there was a delay before we could meet with Trudy but this is expected with excellent, in-demand accountants around tax return time. We found Trudy to be friendly, approachable, knowledgable and she completed our return in the time agreed. She was also a great helping with other issues such as claiming disaster relief and obtaining an ITIN for my daughter, replying to emails and calls very promptly.
I rarely give testimonials as most professionals do not meet my often unrealistic expectation of customer service. Trudy is different, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I prepared my own taxes for many years but finally grew tired of the complexity and ever-changing rules, which led me to engage Trudy in 2006 to handle my income tax preparation. Trudy is always there for you
We were new to town and had a lot of financial situations from the previous year. We were not sure how to go about preparing our tax returns with all the situations we had. I was certain we would owe thousands to the government. We were referred to Trudy , and she prepared our taxes. Trudy was really flexible and I was able to drop my documents off at her office at Greenway and Reems the next day. The following morning I received an email... she was already done! Tax "pros" that did my returns in the past would take weeks and charge outrageous fees. The experience I had with Trudy was quite the opposite. She provided a free consult where she spent a good amount of time answering my small business tax questions (there were a lot!) and sharing her knowledge. Total Accounting has been handling my taxes for over 15 years. Thankfully there haven't been any major issues for Trudy to handle. However friends were extremely concerned as their previous tax accountant had deserted them and taken all their records. Much to their relief Trudy took over their processing.
